In the Centro Cultural La Moneda, more of 20 Warhol’s portfolio’s are arranged in a way that take you from one aspect of his career to another, and sets out to surprise by confronting them with early illustrative works from the 50s that are rarely mentioned in popular discussions of his work. This exhibition is an opportunity to view an expansive collection of work by a Pop Art icon. Especially to understand the importance and influence of his work on contemporary artists. This is the first exposure that takes place in the renovated exhibition area of the palace after it’s recent reconstruction. The exhibition will present American pop-art icon Andy Warhol and his unique collection of work. A part of the exhibition is also a replica of one of artist’s famous factories, where you can try screen-printing Warhol’s motifs._MG_0630

The exhibition coincides with a book on the same subject, as well as a chronology documenting the artists’ careers and points of intersection. The exhibition Andy Warhol presents the wide spectrum of creations of this unique artist. Together with his classical works that belong to the Series called Sunday B. Morning, you can also see an exquisite hand-painted versions. The exhibition intends not only to introduce to you famous works, but also to surprise them with a unique collection of these LP covers.
