So boys, tell us a little about yourselves. Where did you work in your pre-travel days?

Stefan used to be a lawyer in London and Sebastien had come over to France to work in the finance industry as a computer programmer. We met in the GAY bar in London in February 2009 at a time when Stefan was looking for a career and lifestyle change and Seb was on the verge of leaving London for good.06_Beach_selfie,_Koh_Lipe,_Thailand,_February_2015

What type of gay travel blog would you say are you?

We love to discover as much as possible. Otherwise we love being total tourists in new destinations and seeing all the main sites. Then aiming to settle there more long term to get a deeper feel for the place.

How long have you been on the road? Where are you now? And where are you going to be in the next few months?

We left our lives and jobs in London in June 2014 and spent 2 years in Asia and for the past year have been travelling in Latin America. At the moment we are in Colombia and will be here until October.03_Stefan_and_Sebastien_at_the_Puu_Jih_Syh_Temple,_Sandakan,_Sabah,_Malaysia_Borneo,_August_2015

Which country during your trip was the least gay friendly? Why?

Latin America is extremely gay friendly. It’s rare for homosexuality to be illegal here and in most cases, countries are discussing implementing gay marriage. In Asia however, it’s a whole different sad story for LGBT rights. Israel is the only country in Asia which has progressive LGBT legislation and Taiwan is also leading the way, on the verge of passing gay marriage laws nationwide. Otherwise in most places in Asia it’s either illegal to be gay (like in India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Myanmar, Malaysia etc), or it’s such a strong taboo in society that the mere mention of the word gay can put your life, career and family at risk (like in Russia, Indonesia etc).

Tell us about the best moment so far? When have you stood in awe and thought, ‘This is my moment forever’?

We recently visited Cartagena to celebrate Seb’s birthday. What better way to make it special than a romantic meal in a gourmet restaurant, followed by an engagement.05_Food_fight_during_cooking_class_in_Kathmandu,_Nepal,_September_2014
